  County gets $35,000 grant for courthouse
The Rhea County Courthouse, best known as the location for the famous 1925 Monkey Scopes Trial, may be a historical landmark for Dayton, but it looks a little rough around the edges. In order to restore its appearance, the state has awarded a $35,000 grant to Rhea County.
